Overview

• The company has announced a brand new "Genesis" locomotive, the EMD GP38-2. It will initially be produced in three US roads and Canadian National. The CN units will feature the Canadian safety cab, short blower housing and "ladder" style steps. There are DC-only and factory-installed DCC/sound ("Tsunami") options. • The delayed "Genesis" EMD SD70M-2 locomotives are now shipping. I should have a couple spare. They are listed here.

The following DC-only locomotives are due for November delivery:-

The pre-order deadline for these locomotives is February 16th. You may order the US roads by email.
