Overview

• The company has announced a second run of MLW C-630M locomotives in several Canadian schemes. They will have Dofasco trucks and working ditch lights (where applied), photo-etched radiator walkway, brass m.u. hoses and air lines. They will also feature accurate brass antennae, horns, bell, fuel tank, brake wheel, plus correct ploughs/pilots (as appropriate) and rear end. As before there are DC-only and factory-installed DCC/sound ("Tsunami") options.
• Also announced is a brand new locomotive, the Baldwin DS-4-4-1000. It will initially be produced in CP, CP Rail and SOO Line colours, among others. They will feature air hoses, windshield wipers, grab irons and coupler lift bars, plus DC-only and factory-installed DCC/sound ("Tsunami") options.

Ordering

The pre-order deadline for the C-630M is March 29th and for the DS-4-4-1000 its April 29th. You may order the US roads for the latter by email.
