MMRA/AMFM Open House

Montreal Model Railroaders Association Open House
Category: General

As I just reminded my Newsletter subscribers a couple of days ago the Montreal Railroad Modelers Association is holding their winter Open House this week-end. I planned to attend, as usual, as a vendor. However, rightly or wrongly, I decided Thursday afternoon to cancel, due to the winter storm warning.

If you have never visited the club this may be a good time to come and see their impressive HO layout. It may not be around for very much longer as the landlord is taking possession of the premises shortly. For more information on the club, here is their site and here are details for the Open House.

Many of you (including club members, of course) are regulars at these Open Houses and make a point of stopping by my booth and picking up supplies. Well, I won't be there this week-end, but you can still get the supplies. I have made a point of stocking up for this Open House with the products that have been snapped up by you in the past. I have a good supply of Digitrax throttles, decoders, sound decoders and accessories; SoundTraxx sound decoders and speakers; Atlas cars and track; the Bytown R.S. 2011 Trackside Guide; Kadee couplers; Model Power vehicles and figures; Peco track; Rapido cars; Sylvan vehicles; TrueLine locomotives, cars and paints; Proto 2000 wheel sets; Intermountain cars and wheel sets; many, many books etc. The prices in the Store are almost always lower than my show prices, plus, I'll pick up the tab for the shipping cost. Low, low prices, free shipping and just the 5% tax and the goodies will be in your hands by late next week. Is that a good deal or what?

Now the fine print, so to speak:-

If you can't come up with more than $75.00 for yourself, how about getting together to place a bulk order. If you'd rather not order online you can email or call with your order, but be sure to include the item numbers.

I know you'd really like to see me in the flesh, but, failing that, this is a pretty good alternative, right?
