Okay, so it seems I'll have to give the N scale locomotives away as no-one's made me any offers. The same for any remaining cars and other items. If any non-profit club or organisation thinks they deserve consideration, please leave a comment.

The TrueLine 8-hatch refrigerator cars in BCR, CP and PGE did turn up. I have one CP car left in stock. I was left scrambling to fill orders but only a couple of you ended up being disappointed. Sorry about that. Meanwhile, the deadline for pre-ordering the CN and GTW versions has been extended until July 6th. A number of you have been asking what's happening with the CP 40' "Minibox" boxcars. Darren has just announced that they are, once more,  inviting orders and I have re-enabled them in the Store for pre-order.

This week-end is the last chance to pre-order the Intermountain SD40-2 in CN/IC and GTW and I need your orders by Monday morning. Whilst on this subject, can I make a plea for clients to place their pre-orders before the deadline, when one is published. I hate disappointing clients (and losing a sale) because the order was received too late. Many times the item is still available, due to the manufacturer or distributor having spare on hand, but often this is not the case. I am no fan of the "built to order" philosophy used by the major manufacturers these days, but we have to live with it. Any comments?

Expected any day now are the Atlas Dash 8-40C in CN (noodle and 15th Anniversary schemes). My distributors claims to have a few of each spare so you may still grab one from the Store (but no guarantees at this stage).

I've just received dealer information on Eric Gagnon's recent book, "Trackside with VIA - The First 35 Years". I have just uploaded details to the Store and my price will be $22.95 (the MSRP is $25).

Talking of books, the CNR Historical Association's new book is now in stock. Pre-orders were shipped yesterday and I have lots of stock (item CNR-1 in the Store). The MSRP is $54.95; mine is $47.95. It seems like it's getting rave reviews. Shall I put one on your pile?

That's it for now, have a great week-end,

Dave
